Stûv 6 – Compact Stoves & Fireplace Inserts

The Stûv 6 range is particularly versatile because it includes both freestanding stoves and inset fires. Outputs vary significantly across the range, from compact models around 4.9kW through to larger appliances above 10kW.

This makes Stûv 6 useful for everything from replacing an older fireplace insert to creating a new freestanding feature. Its softer curved design also gives it a different character from the more angular Stûv 16.

Stûv 16 – Minimalist Wood Burning

The Stûv 16 is built around a simple rectangular firebox and large front window, keeping the visual focus on the flames.

It is available in freestanding Cube, raised H, wall-mounted UP and inset formats. Different widths provide different heat outputs and proportions, making the range adaptable to both relatively compact rooms and larger contemporary spaces.

Stûv 21 & 22 – Architectural Built-In Fires

Stûv 21 and 22 are designed for larger integrated fireplace projects.

The Stûv 21 uses retractable glass that can be raised to create the feel of an open fire and lowered for efficient closed-door operation. Single and double-sided versions allow the fire to face one room or connect two spaces.

The Stûv 22 takes a more architectural approach, allowing surrounding finishes to sit particularly close to the fire for a clean integrated appearance.

Both ranges should be specified before the surrounding chimney breast or fireplace is constructed because appliance dimensions, convection, ventilation and flue requirements all affect the final design.

Stûv 30 – Three Modes of Operation

The Stûv 30 is one of the manufacturer’s most recognisable designs. A rotating internal drum provides different door positions rather than using a conventional single stove door.

Depending on the model, this allows:

• Glass-door operation for efficient heating with a clear flame view
• Solid-door operation to reduce direct radiant heat
• Open-fire or loading mode for direct access to the fire

The Stûv 30 Compact offers the same design idea in a format better suited to lower heat requirements, while selected higher models can incorporate heat-accumulation material.

Stûv microMega

The Stûv microMega combines a curved combustion chamber with a wide panoramic flame picture. Its retractable glass allows selected installations to operate as an open fire or a closed high-efficiency fireplace.

It is particularly useful where customers want the visual impact of a larger architectural fire without automatically moving to the output and physical scale of the biggest Stûv 21 or 22 models.
