Solution Fires Electric Fires & Media Wall Fires

Solution Fires specialises in premium electric fires for media walls, fireplace openings and freestanding installations. The brand forms part of Capital Fireplaces and offers several very different flame technologies, from traditional projected electric-fire effects through to cinematic 4K displays.

Bonfire has supplied and installed Solution Fires for over 10 years and our team is factory trained by the manufacturer. This allows us to help customers compare not only fire size, but also flame technology, installation depth, viewing configuration and the finished proportions of the fireplace or media wall.

TrueFlame 3DX – Cinematic Electric Fire

TrueFlame 3DX sits at the technology-led end of the Solution Fires collection.

The TrueFlame 100 and 150 use a 4K LCD display to create a high-definition flame image rather than relying solely on conventional reflected-light effects. Current models provide 17 flame effects alongside adjustable colour, brightness and flame speed.

The TrueFlame 150 3DX also provides one, two or three-sided installation options and approximately 1.5kW of supplementary heating.

This range is best considered where flame definition and visual impact are the priority rather than simply finding the lowest-cost electric heater.

PURE Black Series

The PURE Black Series takes a more restrained approach. Instead of offering numerous brightly coloured flame effects, it focuses on amber and orange tones designed to resemble a natural fire.

Dark-tinted rear glass reduces unwanted reflections, while handcrafted Premium Real Logs, bark detailing and integrated downlighting give the fuel bed greater depth.

Current PURE models include 1300 and 1600 widths, with both standard-depth and Slimline versions available.

The standard PURE 1600, for example, is 293mm deep and includes anti-reflective front glass, while the Slimline version reduces the required installation depth where space is more restricted.

Solution LUX Electric Fires

The LUX range provides one of the widest selections of sizes within the Solution collection, including LUX 75, 100, 125, 150, 175 and 200 models alongside the compact LUX 650.

LUX fires use Solution’s iTronic flame technology and can generally be installed as:

  • Front-facing fires
  • Left or right corner fires
  • Three-sided panoramic fires

Current models offer Premium Real Logs or alternative log sets, seven preset lighting themes, adjustable flame and fuel-bed colours, crackling-fire audio, remote control and app operation.

The range works particularly well where the fire needs to be proportioned around a television or wide media wall because there are several widths available without changing to a completely different flame system.

Slimline Electric Fires

Installation depth can be just as important as fire width, particularly where the media wall is being added to an existing room.

The eTronic 560, 800 and 1500 Slimline fires and PURE Slimline models reduce the depth required behind the finished wall.

This can help avoid creating an unnecessarily deep false chimney breast while still providing a wide contemporary flame feature.

When planning a media wall, the fire depth, television depth, cable routes, ventilation requirements and finished wall thickness should all be considered before construction begins.

Electric Fires for Traditional Fireplaces

Solution Fires is not limited to modern media walls.

Compact inset models such as the SLE40i, SLE43i, SLE55i and SLE60i can suit more conventional fireplace openings, with different fascias and fuel-bed styles available.

The LUX 35i is particularly unusual because it is designed for traditional cast-iron fireplace inserts. Its flame effect is projected onto the cast back while a pulsing coal bed recreates the appearance of a traditional inset fire.

This makes it useful for period fireplaces where customers want to retain the cast-iron surround but no longer require gas or solid fuel.

Solution Fires Electric Stoves & Suites

The range also includes freestanding electric stoves such as Mulberry, Blackthorn and Elegance, providing the appearance of a wood burner without a chimney, flue or fuel storage.

Complete electric suites such as the Sheringham offer another option where customers want a finished fireplace feature without constructing a bespoke chimney breast.

Willow Bioethanol Stove

The Willow is different from the rest of the Solution Fires collection because it produces a genuine bioethanol flame.

It requires no conventional chimney, flue or gas connection and provides approximately 2–3kW of heat. It is therefore worth considering where a real flame is preferred but installing a wood-burning or gas stove is impractical.

Solution Fires Media Wall Installation

Bonfire can supply the fire only or provide a complete fireplace and media wall installation service.

This can include fire sizing, media wall design, false chimney-breast construction, television positioning, electrical planning, fireplace finishes and commissioning.

Selected Solution Fires can also be viewed at our 4,000 sq. ft. showroom near Reading, Berkshire, allowing you to compare flame technologies and fuel beds in person.
