Based in Reading, Berkshire, close to London, we are an independent, family owned company with a dedicated fireplace showroom in Reading and an online shop serving customers nationwide. Named Small Business of the Year 2026 for Berkshire by Business Awards UK, we provide supply, bespoke design, renovation and professional installation through our in-house team of experienced surveyors, designers and HETAS and Gas Safe registered engineers.

Behind every Bonfire project is a dedicated team of experienced professionals. From our showroom specialists and designers to our in-house installation engineers, we work together to deliver beautifully designed fireplaces, stoves and heating solutions.

Marc leads Bonfire, overseeing the company’s direction, development and commitment to delivering exceptional products and services. With extensive industry experience, he remains closely involved in the business and its day-to-day success.

Julia oversees the company’s financial management and human resources, helping ensure Bonfire operates efficiently while supporting the people behind the business.

Anna leads our sales team, supporting customers throughout their fireplace and stove projects. She helps ensure every enquiry receives knowledgeable advice, clear communication and a high standard of personal service.

Kate oversees the day-to-day operations of Bonfire, coordinating projects, installations and internal processes to help ensure everything runs smoothly from order through to completion.

Chris helps customers find the right fireplaces, stoves and heating solutions for their homes. From initial enquiries to product selection, he provides practical advice and a friendly, knowledgeable service.

Laura assists customers with product enquiries, showroom consultations and orders, helping them explore the options available and choose solutions that suit their homes and requirements.

Claire supports the day-to-day financial administration of the business, assisting with invoicing, payments and accounts to help keep everything organised and running efficiently.

Max manages Bonfire’s website, online store and digital marketing. From search engine optimisation and online advertising to product content and brand development, he helps customers discover Bonfire both online and beyond the showroom.

Felix looks after our warehouse operations, including stock handling, order preparation and the coordination of goods arriving and leaving Bonfire. He helps ensure products are handled with care and ready for collection or delivery.

Stephen is one of our lead installation engineers, specialising in wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and solid fuel installations. His technical expertise and attention to detail help ensure installations are completed safely and to a high standard.

Richard specialises in the installation of wood-burning stoves, fireplaces and associated flue systems. As a lead engineer, he brings practical experience and technical knowledge to projects of varying sizes and complexity.

John leads gas fireplace and stove installations, ensuring work is carried out safely and professionally in accordance with the relevant gas safety requirements. His expertise helps bring our customers’ gas fire projects to life.

Jason supports our installation engineers with on-site preparation, materials handling and installation work, helping projects progress efficiently and safely.

Our newest installation team member will support our experienced engineers with the preparation and installation of fireplaces, stoves and flue systems.

Sasha is part of the Bonfire welcome committee, keeping a watchful eye on the showroom and making sure visitors receive a warm, four-legged greeting.

Alfie takes his role as showroom companion seriously, bringing plenty of personality to the team and making the showroom feel even more welcoming.
