Supply-only delivery is available across a wider geographical area than our normal installation service and can extend to approximately 200 miles from our Berkshire showroom for suitable products and orders. Yes. Bonfire has an in-house installation team including HETAS and Gas Safe registered engineers, with the appropriate qualified engineer used for the work being undertaken.
How far will Bonfire travel for installation?
Installation coverage varies by product and project rather than relying on one fixed distance. We regularly work throughout our listed service counties. Send us your postcode and project details and we will confirm availability.
Do you offer supply-only delivery outside your installation area?
Yes. Supply-only delivery is available across a wider area, generally up to approximately 200 miles from our Berkshire showroom for suitable orders. Availability and price depend on the product, postcode, size, weight and delivery method.
Can you install a wood burning stove if there is no existing chimney?
In many properties a suitable stove can be installed using an insulated twin-wall chimney system. A survey is recommended so the appliance, route, clearances, terminal position and property construction can be assessed.
Do you install gas fires and balanced-flue gas fires?
Yes. We supply and install conventional-flue and balanced-flue gas fires and gas stoves for suitable properties. The final specification depends on the appliance, route, ventilation and property requirements.
Do you install electric fires and media walls?
Yes. We supply and install built-in electric fires, inset electric fires, electric stoves and media-wall fires, and we can advise on fire dimensions, viewing configurations and the surrounding construction.
Can you supply bespoke hearths, slips and fireplace components?
Yes. Bonfire supplies made-to-measure hearths, slips, back panels and other fireplace components for suitable projects, including natural stone and slate options.
Do you work on listed, heritage or thatched properties?
Yes. Bonfire has dedicated experience with heritage and listed properties and with fireplace, stove and chimney projects in thatched properties. These projects should be assessed individually because construction and fire-safety requirements can be more specialised.
