The Stûv 21/75 SF Single Faced Inset Wood Burning Stove is the most compact single-sided model in the Stûv 21 range, designed to bring the signature Stûv retractable fire concept into smaller fireplace openings and more space-conscious interiors. It combines a clean built-in appearance with the flexibility to operate as either an open fire or a closed high-efficiency stove.
A key part of the Stûv 21 design is the slide-back glass. When the glass is raised, the fire behaves like an open hearth, giving a more direct flame experience and even allowing use with the optional barbecue accessory. When the glass is lowered, the appliance becomes a sealed wood burning stove with strong efficiency, greater safety and more controlled combustion. The exceptionally large glass panel ensures a clear view of the flames, while the door tilts forward for easier cleaning and maintenance.
The 21/75 SF is the narrowest single-faced model in this family, which makes it especially useful where the customer wants the look and function of a retractable built-in wood fire without moving to one of the wider formats. In performance terms, it offers a rated output of 13.7 kW, an optimal range of 7.5 to 18.1 kW, 77.8% efficiency at rated power and an energy efficiency class of A. It accepts 50 cm logs, weighs 182 kg, and uses a 180 mm flue outlet. It also supports outside air connection, optional hot air ducting and optional auxiliary ventilation.

Expert Insight
The 21/75 SF is a strong option where a standard architectural retractable fire is wanted but the available width is more limited. It still gives the defining Stûv 21 features such as hidden mechanism, open-fire use and clean integration, but in a more compact single-sided format that is easier to place in smaller rooms and narrower chimney breast designs.
Because it is the smallest single-sided model in the range, it can also work well where the customer wants a more understated fire rather than a broad panoramic opening.
Suitability
The Stûv 21/75 SF Single Faced Inset Wood Burning Stove is well suited to smaller living spaces, compact architectural fireplace projects and interiors where a retractable built-in wood fire is wanted without the scale of the larger Stûv 21 models.
