Firebloom Outdoor Heating & Pizza Ovens

Firebloom is an outdoor-living brand focused on two things that make gardens more usable: high-temperature cooking and real-flame heating.

The current Bonfire range contains six products. Four are pizza ovens, covering electric and gas cooking, while the Fresco and Fresco+ provide contemporary outdoor wood-burning heat with flames visible through four glass sides.

That makes choosing Firebloom straightforward. If food is the priority, start with the pizza ovens. If extending evenings outside with warmth and atmosphere is the priority, look at Fresco.

Firebloom Electric Pizza Ovens

Firebloom offers three electric models for customers who want high-temperature pizza cooking without storing gas bottles or managing solid fuel.

All three current electric ovens can reach approximately 400°C, putting them well above the temperatures available from a typical domestic kitchen oven.

The advantage of electric is simplicity: plug the oven into a suitable supply, preheat it and adjust the temperature using the built-in controls.

Firebloom EP01 – Compact & Foldable

The EP01 is a compact 1800W electric pizza oven designed for pizzas up to approximately 12 inches.

Dual upper and lower heating elements surround a square pizza stone, helping provide more even heat across the base and toppings.

Its retractable legs can also fold down for easier storage, making the EP01 particularly useful where an outdoor kitchen is not permanently set up.

Firebloom states that stone-baked pizzas can cook in approximately 90–120 seconds once the oven and stone have reached the correct temperature.

EP02 or EP03?

The EP02 takes a more substantial freestanding approach and uses approximately 2kW of electric power.

It is better suited where the pizza oven will occupy a more permanent position within the patio or outdoor cooking area.

The EP03 also uses approximately 2000W but returns to a compact tabletop format, giving customers a higher-powered option without requiring a freestanding unit.

Both reach temperatures of up to approximately 400°C.

Firebloom GP01 Gas Pizza Oven

The GP01 provides an alternative for customers who prefer gas cooking.

It reaches approximately 400°C but uses a real gas flame rather than electric heating elements.

Gas can be particularly useful where the oven needs to operate away from a convenient electrical supply or where responsive burner adjustment is preferred.

The GP01 is also sized around pizzas of approximately 12 inches, making the key difference primarily the fuel source rather than pizza capacity.

Electric or Gas Pizza Oven?

Choose electric if convenience, straightforward temperature adjustment and avoiding gas bottles are your priorities.

Choose gas if you prefer live-flame cooking, want to position the oven further from an electrical supply or already use bottled gas within your outdoor kitchen.

Neither is automatically better. The right choice depends on how and where the oven will actually be used.

Firebloom Fresco Outdoor Wood-Burning Stove

The Fresco is the product that originally defined the Firebloom range.

Unlike an open fire pit, the wood fire is enclosed behind four large glass panels, providing a 360° view of the flames while the flue directs smoke upwards and away from people sitting around the stove.

Key features include:

  • 360° flame visibility
  • Four large glass panels
  • Four-sided airwash system
  • Heavy-duty 4mm steel construction
  • 1.5m flue terminal
  • Wood-burning operation
  • Suitable for domestic and commercial outdoor settings

The result is much closer to an outdoor stove than a conventional chiminea or open fire pit.

Fresco+ – What Has Changed?

The Fresco+ was introduced for 2026 as an evolution of the original design.

It retains the four-sided glass body and 360° flame view but adds several practical improvements:

  • Adjustable air control to regulate the burn rate
  • Reworked combustion system for greater control
  • Integrated fire grate
  • Debris collector for easier ash removal
  • Integrated drainage system for easier outdoor maintenance

If you mainly want the distinctive Firebloom look at the lowest price, the original Fresco remains attractive. If easier control and maintenance matter, the Fresco+ is the more developed version.

Why Four Glass Sides?

A conventional outdoor fireplace often has one main viewing direction.

Fresco instead allows people positioned around the heater to see the same fire, making it well suited to central seating areas and social spaces.

The four-sided airwash system also directs air across the glazing to help reduce deposits while the fire is burning correctly.

As with any wood fire, dry untreated logs and sufficiently hot combustion are still important for maintaining clear glass.

Fresco vs an Open Fire Pit

The main difference is smoke management and enclosure.

An open fire pit releases combustion gases directly into the seating area and is particularly affected by changes in wind direction.

Fresco encloses the fire and uses a 1.5m flue terminal to take smoke upwards.

This does not make it smokeless, but it can create a more controlled outdoor-fire experience than sitting directly around an open wood fire.

Built for Outdoor Use

Firebloom states that its products use durable, weather-resistant materials intended for outdoor use when properly operated and maintained.

The Fresco body uses substantial 4mm steel construction, while Fresco+ also incorporates drainage intended to make ongoing outdoor use easier.

Outdoor appliances should still be maintained, cleaned and protected in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions rather than assumed to require no care simply because they are weather resistant.

Firebloom FAQs

What does Firebloom make?

Firebloom specialises in outdoor products, with the current Bonfire range covering electric and gas pizza ovens alongside Fresco wood-burning outdoor stoves.

How hot do Firebloom pizza ovens get?

The current EP01, EP02, EP03 and GP01 pizza ovens are designed to reach temperatures of up to approximately 400°C.

What is the difference between Fresco and Fresco+?

Fresco+ retains the original four-sided design but adds adjustable air control, an enhanced combustion system, fire grate, debris collector and integrated drainage.

Can you see the Fresco fire from all sides?

Yes. Both Fresco and Fresco+ use four large glass panels to provide a 360° view of the flames.

Does a Firebloom Fresco produce smoke?

Yes, it is a real wood-burning appliance. The enclosed firebox and 1.5m flue terminal are designed to direct smoke upwards rather than releasing it directly at seating height.

Can Firebloom pizza ovens cook anything other than pizza?

Yes. Depending on the model and cookware used, high-temperature pizza ovens can also be used for dishes such as flatbreads, vegetables and suitable meat or fish recipes.
