RAIS is a Danish fireplace manufacturer specialising in contemporary wood-burning stoves, gas fires and bioethanol fireplaces. The collection is designed around clean Scandinavian proportions, generous views of the flame and a high level of personalisation.
Unlike manufacturers focused on one fuel type, RAIS allows customers to achieve a similar design language with wood, gas or bioethanol. This makes the brand particularly useful for design-led homes where the appearance of the appliance is important but the most suitable fuel varies from room to room.

RAIS Wood Burning Stoves
RAIS wood-burning stoves range from compact freestanding appliances to tall architectural stoves and large built-in fires.
Popular families include Caro, Nexo, Viva L and Q-Tee, alongside substantial built-in 500, 600 and Visio fireplaces.
Selected models can be specified with features such as side glass, alternative handles and colours, fresh-air connections, heat-accumulating stones and RAIS CleverAir automatic combustion control.
RAIS Nexo
Nexo is one of RAIS’s most distinctive contemporary designs. The range uses clean rectangular lines and large areas of glass, with models available in several heights from the compact Nexo 100 through to the tall Nexo 185.
Selected Nexo wood burners can be configured with side glass, different doors, handles, colours, a rotating base and CleverAir automatic air control.
This allows the same basic stove to be tailored to a minimalist room, open-plan living space or more architectural interior rather than offering only one fixed specification.
RAIS Caro & Viva L
The RAIS Caro collection has softer, rounded proportions than Nexo and is available in different heights. Wood-burning Caro models typically sit around the popular 5kW level, making them relevant to many medium-sized living spaces.
Viva L provides another tall cylindrical-style format with multiple height choices and a particularly strong vertical flame presentation.
RAIS Built-In Wood Fires
RAIS also produces large architectural inset fireplaces for customers who want the fire integrated into a purpose-built chimney breast or feature wall.

RAIS uses familiar designs such as Nexo, Caro, Viva L and Q-Tee across its gas collection, allowing customers to retain the appearance of a Scandinavian freestanding stove while gaining remote-controlled operation.
Selected gas models can also be controlled by smartphone or tablet and are available in different heights, colours and glass configurations.
RAIS Bioethanol Fires
RAIS bioethanol fireplaces create a genuine flame without requiring a conventional chimney or fixed gas connection.
Current bioethanol versions include designs from the Nexo, Caro, Viva L and Q-Tee families. Selected models offer up to approximately 3.4kW of heat and long burn times, with electronic monitoring and automatic safety functions.
Bioethanol should primarily be viewed as a real-flame design feature with supplementary heat rather than a replacement for a property’s main heating system. Adequate ventilation and the manufacturer’s minimum room-size requirements must still be followed.
Customising a RAIS Fireplace

Bioethanol models do not normally require a chimney, but still need to be positioned and operated according to the manufacturer’s requirements.
