The Schiedel ICID Telescopic Pipe 50-235mm is an adjustable twin wall flue section designed to achieve an exact system length on site without cutting standard chimney components. Available for 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″) internal flue diameters, its adjustable 50-235mm length is particularly useful where fixed pipe sections do not precisely match the required flue run.
The telescopic design allows the final chimney length to be adjusted during installation. Rather than cutting a standard component to compensate for a small remaining distance, this section can be used alongside standard ICID components to make up the required dimension.
It can also be incorporated into the starter section of the system. In this position, the telescopic movement can allow the appliance to be removed for maintenance without having to move the complete chimney system.
Two versions are available for 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″) internal flue diameters. The appropriate size should be selected to correspond with the adjoining Schiedel ICID components.
The wider ICID Plus system is designed with a load-bearing outer case, while the inner liner can expand independently. This allows thermal expansion to be accommodated within the individual joints of the chimney system.
