The Katell Romento Flat-To-Wall Fire and Fireplace Suite is a wide, low-level electric fireplace range designed for contemporary living rooms, media spaces and open-plan interiors. Available in three sizes with Charlton & Jenrick iRange Slimline fire engines, it combines LiveFlame technology, ambient mood lighting, smart control and up to 1.5kW heat output.
Its landscape proportions give the Romento considerable visual presence without the depth of a Deep-format electric fireplace. The suite sits directly against a suitable flat wall and requires no chimney or flue, making it a practical way to create a substantial fireplace feature without major structural work.
The selected configuration is the 56″ Romento in Salina Grey with the Standard Ceramic Log Set, incorporating the Charlton & Jenrick i920e Slimline fire.
Three Romento Sizes
The Romento is available in three configurations:

- Romento 63″ – i1100e Slimline
- Romento 79″ – i1500e Slimline
Overall hearth width increases from 1420mm on the 56″ model to 2000mm on the largest 79″ version, allowing the design to be scaled to suit different wall widths and room proportions.
Charlton & Jenrick iRange Slimline
The iRange Slimline fire is designed to create a wide electric flame display while keeping overall installation depth relatively modest.
A woodland-style log arrangement forms the centre of the fuel bed, which can also incorporate ember effects and decorative crystals.
Optional transparent slate can be introduced for a more contemporary appearance, while a Real Oak Premium Log Set is available where genuine timber is preferred.
LiveFlame Technology
The fire uses LiveFlame technology with three flame colour options.
Each colour provides five mood settings, while flame height, brightness and movement can also be adjusted.
This allows the display to range from a softer evening effect to a brighter, more prominent flame picture.
Fuel-Bed and Mood Lighting
The fuel bed provides nine colour options and four mood settings.
These can be used to create warmer ember-style lighting or more contemporary colour effects.
The Romento also incorporates LED ambient mood downlighting as standard, with a further 13 colour options available for the surrounding lighting.
This ambient lighting can operate independently or alongside the flame and fuel-bed effects.
Smart Control and Heating
The fire can be controlled using the supplied smart remote or through the C&J Smart App.
