The Katell Italia Amalfi Flat-To-Wall Electric Fire and Fireplace Suite is a 1297mm-wide painted MDF fireplace supplied complete with the Charlton & Jenrick i790e iRange Slimline electric fire. Combining a substantial mantel, moulded inner detailing and a shallow flat-to-wall installation, it provides the appearance of a complete fireplace without requiring a chimney or flue.
The Amalfi balances traditional fireplace proportions with a cleaner contemporary finish. Its broad mantel and chunky shelf give the suite architectural presence, while the moulded inner section adds definition around the landscape electric fire.
At 913mm high with a mantel depth of 299mm, the suite is designed to sit directly against a suitable flat wall rather than requiring a recessed fireplace opening.
Charlton & Jenrick i790e Slimline Fire
The included i790e iRange Slimline electric fire provides a visible glass area measuring 790mm wide by 504mm high.
Its Slimline format is designed to deliver a substantial flame picture while limiting the overall depth required by the complete fireplace.
A detailed woodland-style log display forms the fuel bed, with natural variation in the log shapes and appearance.
LiveFlame Technology
Charlton & Jenrick’s LiveFlame technology provides three flame colour options, with five mood settings available for each colour.
Flame height, brightness and movement can also be adjusted, allowing the display to range from a softer background flame to a more prominent visual effect.
Ambient Fuel-Bed Lighting
The fuel bed provides nine colour options and four mood settings.
These allow the log display to be illuminated with a traditional warm glow or more contemporary colour effects. The flame and fuel-bed lighting can also be used without the heater for year-round ambience.
Smart Heating and Control
The i790e can be controlled through the supplied remote handset or the C&J Smart App.
The integrated heater provides up to 1.5kW heat output, with two automatic heat settings and an electronic thermostat.
A seven-day programmable timer allows heating to be scheduled around normal use, while open-window detection helps reduce unnecessary heating if a sudden temperature drop is detected.
Optional crackling sound effects can also be accessed through the app.
