The 16/58 is the most compact of the three Stûv 16 Cube widths, so its main advantage is not maximum firebox scale but better proportioning in smaller rooms and tighter layouts. Installation / Technical Notes
The stove is made from steel and vermiculite and finished in Stûv grey. It weighs 105 kg and uses a 180 mm flue outlet with a front hot-air outlet and 63 mm outside air inlet. The supplied dimensional table lists the 16/58 at 580 mm wide, with minimum safety distances of 35 cm at the rear and 25 cm at the sides. It conforms with ECODESIGN 2022, BE Phase 3 and DEFRA.
Hinged Door System
The Stûv 16 is fitted with a hinged door which just allows the fire to be refuelled. The Stûv works only with the door closed.
