We were appointed by the Donnington Valley Hotel & Spa for the supply, design and installation of an inset wood burning fireplace for their new Post Barn.

The Post Barn has been created as an extention from the main Hotel to host weddings and other special occasssions.

The aim was to create an outstanding centrepiece within the Barn that would add to the overall atmosphere of the room.

A decision was made to go for the Stuv 21/125 SF inset wood burning fireplace.

The beauty of this fire is that is has a guillotine door which hides up within the unit. This creates a fully open fireplace feel yet still complying to eco design regulations.

Specialised equipment was used to drop the Stuv into position as they’re quite heavy!

Flue system constructed and safely connected into position once a flue route had been planned and designed.
