Bonfire Fireplaces & Stoves completed the design, supply, and installation of an open fronted bioethanol fire with a limestone fireplace surround for Amélie Restaurant London.
The project began with a blank interior wall and was developed into a warm, design led focal point, enhancing both the atmosphere and spatial experience within a high end hospitality setting.
The Brief
The client required a fireplace solution that would:
- Create a welcoming and intimate atmosphere for guests
- Integrate seamlessly with a premium interior design scheme
- Operate without the need for a chimney or flue system
- Deliver a real flame effect with minimal maintenance
Design & Installation Approach
A full turnkey solution was delivered, combining technical expertise with considered design.
The installation included:
- A bespoke false chimney breast, constructed to form architectural presence
- A Pembroke Aegean limestone fireplace surround, selected for its timeless material quality
- A matching slip set and hearth to frame the fire opening
- A sleek inset bioethanol fire, open fronted to maximise flame visibility
Bioethanol was specified as the optimal solution due to its flue free installation, making it ideal for commercial environments where structural constraints are a factor.
