      Delivery Information

      Delivery times are usually approximately 2–3 working days, depending on stock availability at the time of order or if stated otherwise. Some products may have longer lead times, especially if they are made to order, supplier stocked or awaiting manufacturer availability.

      Once your order has been placed, we will contact you to confirm the estimated delivery date and advise you of any known delays.

      Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your postcode, order value and delivery location.

      Free Delivery Over £1,000

      Free delivery on orders over £1,000 is available within 100 miles of our showroom at RG7 2PQ, unless stated otherwise.

      Unless otherwise agreed in writing, free delivery is a dedicated one person small van / 3m Sprinter-style delivery service.

      This means:

      • the goods are delivered to your address or the nearest safely accessible point;
      • the delivery is made by one driver;
      • the receiver is responsible for safely unloading the goods from the vehicle;
      • the driver may assist where safe and practical, but this cannot be guaranteed;
      • this service does not include tail lift delivery, two-person delivery, white glove delivery, internal placement, unpacking or installation.

      For heavy, fragile or bulky products, please ensure suitable unloading assistance is available at the delivery address.

      If you require help unloading, a tail lift vehicle, two-person delivery, white glove delivery, internal placement or any other special delivery arrangement, please contact us before placing your order or before dispatch so we can provide a bespoke delivery quote.

      Dedicated Delivery Service

      Where possible, we use a dedicated direct delivery service rather than a general pallet network. This helps reduce handling, lowers the risk of damage in transit and gives larger or fragile products the best chance of arriving safely and in one piece.

      However, unless an upgraded delivery service has been quoted and agreed in writing, this remains a one-person delivery service and the receiver is responsible for unloading.

      Tail Lift, White Glove and Bespoke Delivery

      Tail lift, two person and white glove delivery options may be available on request, depending on the product, delivery location and access.

      These are upgraded chargeable services and must be agreed before dispatch.

      Please contact our team on 0118 970 1717 or email info@bonfire.co.uk if you require:

      • tail lift delivery;
      • assistance unloading;
      • delivery onto a driveway or into a garage;
      • white glove delivery;
      • delivery into the property;
      • restricted access delivery;
      • timed delivery;
      • delivery to a building site or commercial address.

      Access Requirements

      Please tell us before dispatch if there are any access restrictions, including:

      • narrow lanes;
      • steep or gravel driveways;
      • low bridges;
      • parking restrictions;
      • steps;
      • restricted turning space;
      • weight limits;
      • difficult access for vans or lorries.

      The driver will deliver to the nearest safe and accessible point. Due to insurance and health and safety restrictions, drivers are not insured to move goods into your home unless a suitable upgraded delivery service has been agreed in advance.

      Checking Goods on Delivery

      Please check all goods while the driver is present. The driver can usually wait up to 15 minutes.

      If any damage is visible, please mark this clearly on the delivery note and notify us as soon as possible. Any damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

      If you are unavailable on the scheduled delivery date, re-delivery charges may apply.

      We provide delivery within a 200-mile radius of our Reading, Berkshire showroom. For customers outside this radius, products may be available for collection only, or we may be able to quote for a bespoke delivery solution.

      The Stûv 30-compact H wood burning stove is a tall compact stove designed to combine efficient combustion, flexible operation and optional heat storage in one premium cylindrical appliance. It takes the compact Stûv 30 concept and adds a high version with optional accumulator, allowing part of the heat to be stored and then released gradually for several hours after the fire has gone out.

      The defining feature of this model is the way its key systems work together. Like the wider Stûv 30 family, it uses the brand’s distinctive 3-door system, allowing you to rotate the drum so the required door is brought to the front. The glass door gives a broad flame view with strong output and safe closed-door operation. The solid door slows the fire and, in idling mode, channels heat towards the optional storage core while hiding the combustion chamber when the stove is not in use. The loading door allows safer refuelling. This gives the stove a level of flexibility that goes well beyond a conventional single-door design.

      The optional heat storage core is what makes the 30-compact H especially appealing. During the burn cycle, some of the heat is stored in the accumulator rather than released immediately into the room. Once the fire has died down, that stored energy continues to be diffused over time, extending the sensation of warmth and comfort. The supplied data states that heat can continue to be radiated for up to 8 hours after the fire has gone out. The accumulator itself weighs 151 kg, increasing the stove weight from 124 kg without mass to 275 kg with mass. This makes the 30-compact H particularly relevant where a steadier, longer-lasting heat feel is preferred over purely immediate radiant output.

      Despite its compact combustion chamber, the stove offers a 6 kW nominal output with a 3 to 9 kW usage range, efficiency above 80%, an A+ energy efficiency class, CO emissions below 0.09% and fine particle emissions of 18 mg/Nm³. The cast iron combustion chamber, combined with high airtightness and controlled air distribution, is designed to maintain efficient combustion even at half power. The stove also supports direct outside air connection from either beneath or behind, which helps preserve ventilation balance and makes it well suited to traditional, energy-efficient and wood-framed homes. A built-in ashtray is included, and optional accessories include a barbecue, ground plate, Mobilobox, log rack and automatic closing door option.

      Key Features:

      • Tall compact wood burning stove
      • Optional heat accumulation core
      • Heat release for up to 8 hours after the fire goes out

      Expert Insight

      The main difference between the standard compact stove and the 30-compact H is not just its height, but the addition of optional thermal storage. In practical terms, that changes the character of the heat. Rather than relying only on direct radiant warmth while the fire is active, the stove can store part of that energy and continue to release it afterwards, which can make the room feel warmer for longer without the same intensity of ongoing firing.

      The solid door mode is especially important here, because it is designed to help redirect heat towards the storage core rather than radiating it immediately through the glass. Combined with the stove’s high airtightness and direct external air supply, this makes it a strong option for more airtight or lower-energy homes where controlled, efficient heat delivery matters.

      Suitability

      The Stûv 30-compact H is well suited to compact homes, energy-efficient properties, wood-framed buildings and interiors where the stove needs to combine visual refinement with longer-lasting comfort. It is a strong choice for customers who want a premium compact cylindrical stove with flexible operating modes and the option of genuine heat storage.

      Installation / Technical Notes

      The stove is made from steel and cast iron and finished in Stûv grey. It measures approximately 1650 mm high, 465 mm wide and 447 mm deep in the supplied technical drawings. It uses a 150 mm flue outlet, with connection possible above or at the rear, and a 63 mm outside air inlet. Weight is 124 kg without the accumulation mass and 275 kg with the accumulation mass. The stated minimum draw is 12 Pa, smoke mass flow is 4.9 g/s, and average smoke temperature is 302°C. Minimum insulation thickness between the stove and combustible materials is listed as 10 cm at the back and 10 cm at the sides.

      Operating Mode:

      The stove can draw combustion air from a direct external air intake, positioned either beneath or behind the appliance, creating an airtight system through the air supply, combustion chamber and flue.

      As the stove burns, convection air moves around the chamber to capture heat from the smoke, naturally releasing warm air into the room while an airwash system helps keep the glass clear for a better view of the flames.

      Outside Air Kit:

      The Stuv 30 Compact One can be connected to the outside air, either under the device or behind the stove.

      Ash Container:

      Even though not to be used often, this stove has a built in ash container.

      Floor Plate Option:

      Optional circular or oval floor plates that are specifically designed for this stove.

      Barbecue Option:

      An optional bbq kit can be fitted to the front to work with radiant heat to cook food.
