The Katell Portofino 55″ Electric Fireplace Suite with i790e is a substantial flat-to-wall electric fireplace combining classic surround proportions with the wider Charlton & Jenrick i790e Slimline fire. Measuring 1398mm across the hearth and 989mm high, it provides a broad landscape flame display, smart control and up to 1.5kW of supplementary electric heat.
The 55″ model is the larger of the two Portofino sizes and is designed for rooms where a more substantial fireplace focal point is required. Its low-level landscape proportions also work well where a television is intended above the suite.
The selected configuration shown is finished in Salina Grey with the Standard Ceramic Log Set.
Charlton & Jenrick i790e Slimline Fire
The Portofino 55″ incorporates the Charlton & Jenrick i790e iRange Slimline electric fire.
Its wider format creates a broader flame picture than the i560e used in the smaller 46″ Portofino while retaining the relatively shallow proportions of the Slimline range.
A detailed woodland-style log display forms the centre of the fuel bed.
LiveFlame Technology
The i790e uses LiveFlame technology with three flame colour options.
Each flame colour provides five mood settings, while flame height, brightness and movement can also be adjusted.
This allows the appearance to be tailored from a subdued background flame to a brighter, more prominent display.
Fuel-Bed and Mood Lighting
The fuel bed provides nine colour options with four mood settings.
These can be used to create a warm amber-style appearance or more contemporary lighting effects.
Additional ambient mood lighting provides 13 colour options, which can operate independently or alongside the flame and fuel-bed display.
Optional decorative transparent slate can also be introduced where a more contemporary fuel-bed finish is preferred.
Woodland or Real Oak Logs
A woodland-style log set is supplied as standard.
An optional Real Oak Premium Log Set can be selected where the natural grain, colour and variation of genuine timber is preferred.
Smart Control and Heating
The fire can be operated using the supplied smart remote or through the C&J Smart App.
Heating output is up to 1.5kW, with two automatic heat settings and an electronic thermostat helping regulate the selected room temperature.
