The Stûv 22/110 Single-Faced Wood Burning Fireplace is the largest one-sided model in the Stûv 22 range, designed to deliver the broadest flame view, the highest output and the strongest visual presence of the three widths. It is intended for projects where the fire is a major architectural feature and where both open-fire experience and high-output closed-fire heating are important.
Like the rest of the Stûv 22 family, the 22/110 is built around retractable glass and a patented integrated frame concept. With the glass lowered, it offers controlled, efficient wood burning with a clear view of the fire and minimal visual interruption. With the glass raised, it creates a more direct open-fire experience while using engineered external and compensation air systems to avoid the usual drawbacks of a conventional open fireplace. The hidden frame allows the finish material to be brought very close to the opening, helping the fireplace blend into the wall with very little visible structure.
This 110 model gives the biggest scale and the highest output in the one-sided range. It offers a 22.4 kW nominal output, an operating range of 11.0 to 27.6 kW, nominal efficiency of 77.0% and an energy efficiency class of A. It accepts 80 cm horizontal logs, uses a 200 mm smoke flue, and supports direct external air inlet, compensation air, primary and secondary air control, post-combustion and high airtightness. Optional additions include a barbecue kit, façade, front insulation kit, and multiple installation and cladding solutions, including frames, front panels and ready-to-fit fireplace configurations.

Expert Insight
The 22/110 is the model to choose where the fireplace must hold major visual and thermal weight within the room. Its scale allows for a much broader and more dramatic flame picture than the smaller widths, and the ability to take 80 cm logs puts it in a very different category of firebox capacity. That makes it especially well suited to larger architectural openings and more expansive interior schemes.
Because of its size and output, the installation details matter more here. The insulation requirements, combustion air routing and compensation air system all become more significant, which is why this model is best treated as a high-performance built-in fireplace rather than simply a large decorative insert.
Suitability
The Stûv 22/110 Single-Faced Wood Burning Fireplace is well suited to large living spaces, statement architectural projects, open-plan interiors and homes where the fireplace is intended to be a dominant one-sided centrepiece. It is a strong choice for customers who want the broadest Stûv 22 single-faced flame view and the highest heat output in the range.
Installation / Technical Notes
