The Purevision BPV8 8.5kW Multi-Fuel Stove is the largest and most powerful model in the Purevision range, designed for high heat output, wide flame visuals, and efficient performance in larger spaces. With its expansive viewing window and robust construction, it is suited to open-plan areas, large living rooms, and inglenook installations where both output and visual impact are required.

With a nominal heat output of 8.5 kW and a working range of 4.9–10 kW, the BPV8 provides strong and consistent heating for larger areas. Operating at up to 80% efficiency and achieving Energy Class A, it delivers effective warmth while maintaining controlled fuel consumption. The stove is DEFRA exempt for use in smoke control areas and certified to clearSkies Level 5, ensuring low emissions and clean-burning performance.

The wide panoramic glass window is a key feature, offering a high-definition view of the flames. The integrated airwash system directs pre-heated air across the glass to keep it clear, maintaining an uninterrupted flame picture during operation. The large firebox accommodates logs between 400 mm and up to 650 mm, allowing for extended burn times and increased fuel capacity.

Constructed with a steel body and cast iron door, the BPV8 is built for durability and long-term use. Finished in matt black with stainless steel detailing, it offers a clean, modern appearance that works in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Designed as a multi-fuel stove, it can burn both wood and smokeless fuels, providing flexibility depending on availability and preference. The patented tertiary air system enhances combustion efficiency by introducing additional air into the burn process, reducing emissions and maximising heat output. Convection stove technology improves heat distribution, ensuring a more even warmth throughout the room.

Ease of use is supported by a single stainless steel air control lever, allowing simple adjustment of burn rate and temperature. The stove also features Purevision’s Active Baffle System, which improves start-up, simplifies refuelling, and maintains optimal combustion conditions.

Installation is flexible, with both top and rear flue outlet options using a 5-inch (127 mm) flue. The stove requires only a 12 mm non-combustible hearth, offering greater installation flexibility compared to traditional models. It is also compatible with an optional external air kit, allowing combustion air to be drawn from outside, which is particularly beneficial for modern airtight homes.

Clearances require 200 mm to the rear and 300 mm to the sides from combustible materials. Adjustable feet are included to assist with levelling during installation. Optional stands and log store bases are available to enhance both the visual presence and practicality of the stove.

Weighing approximately 153 kg and backed by a 12-year extended warranty (subject to registration), the BPV8 is designed for long-term reliability and performance.
