The Onyx Eclipse 65R is a landscape LCD inset electric fire combining a wide flame display, illuminated Split Oak effect logs and up to 2kW of thermostatic heat. Its proportions make it particularly well suited to raised wall installations or larger fireplace surrounds with a suitably prepared custom opening.
Authentic LCD Flame Technology provides 16 different flame effects, while IlluminOak logs and Chromalight® Plus fuel bed lighting add further depth and colour. The fire can be controlled from its touch panel, remote handset or the MUS Flame app.
Landscape LCD Flame Display
The Eclipse 65R uses Authentic LCD Flame Technology to create 16 different flame effects across its landscape display. Five brightness levels allow the intensity of the flame picture to be adjusted to suit the room and time of day.
The flame and lighting effects can operate independently of the heater, allowing the fire to remain a focal point throughout the year.
IlluminOak Split Oak Logs
The IlluminOak Split Oak effect logs are internally illuminated to create a gently pulsing glow beneath the LCD flames.
Eight log-lighting colours and a spectrum mode allow the appearance of the fuel bed to be personalised, from warmer traditional tones to more contemporary colour effects.
Chromalight Plus Lighting
Chromalight® Plus provides eight fuel bed up-lighting colours plus spectrum mode. Adjustable downlighting can be set to Amber or White, or switched off completely.
The Eclipse 65R also includes nine MyFlame presets, three of which can be customised and saved through the app.
Wall Or Fireplace Installation
The Eclipse 65R can be recessed into a suitable wall or incorporated into a fireplace with a correctly prepared custom opening.
With the complete four-sided gloss black frame fitted, the visible dimensions are 687mm wide x 478mm high. For a hearth-mounted installation, the lower section of the frame can be removed to create a three-sided finish measuring 687mm wide x 453mm high.
The appliance has an overall depth of 272mm. The visible frame measurements are not installation cut-out dimensions, so the manufacturer’s installation instructions should always be followed when preparing the recess.
Up To 2kW Thermostatic Heating
The Eclipse 65R provides up to 2kW of supplementary electric heating. Its thermostat allows a selected room temperature of up to 35°C, with the appliance controlling the heater to help maintain the chosen setting.
A separate fan-only mode is also available for air circulation without heat.
Touch, Remote And App Control
The fire can be operated through its discreet illuminated touch panel, the supplied remote handset or the MUS Flame app on compatible iOS and Android devices.
App functionality includes flame and lighting adjustment, temperature control, MyFlame presets and programmable daily or weekly schedules.
Adaptive Start And Open Window Detection
Adaptive Start can begin heating ahead of a scheduled time to help the room reach the selected temperature when required.
Open Window Detection responds to a rapid fall in room temperature by switching off the heater, helping to reduce unnecessary energy use.
Optional Mood Lighting
An optional Onyx LED Mood Lighting Kit can extend the lighting effect beyond the fire itself. The system offers 13 colours plus spectrum mode and can be used around surrounding shelving, cabinetry or a feature wall.
