The Katell Italia Cento Slim Wall Mounted Electric Fire and Fireplace Suite is a low-level contemporary fireplace designed around Charlton & Jenrick iRange Slimline electric fire technology. Available in four widths from 1420mm to 2500mm, it combines a shallow wall-mounted format with LiveFlame effects, ambient fuel-bed lighting, smart control and integrated mood lighting.
Designed as the space-conscious alternative to the Cento Deep, the Slim reduces projection into the room while maintaining the wide landscape proportions that define the Cento range. Its floating wall-mounted installation also keeps the floor beneath the suite clear for a lighter, more architectural appearance.
With overall heights of just 582mm or 612mm, the Cento Slim works particularly well where a television or other feature is intended above the fireplace.
Four iRange Slimline Sizes
The Cento Slim can be specified with four Charlton & Jenrick fire engines:

The overall suite grows with the selected fire, from the compact 1420mm-wide Cento Slim 56″ through to the substantial 2500mm-wide Cento Slim 98″.
Shallow Landscape Design
Depth is one of the Cento Slim’s key advantages.
The upper section projects just 191mm on the 56″ model and 211mm on the larger versions, while the lower section measures 270mm deep.
This makes it particularly useful where the visual scale of a wide fireplace is wanted without the greater projection of an iRange Deep installation.
LiveFlame Technology
The iRange Slimline uses LiveFlame technology with three flame colour choices.
Each colour provides five mood settings, while flame height, brightness and movement can also be adjusted to suit the room and preferred atmosphere.
The flame display can be used independently of the heater, allowing the fireplace to remain a visual feature throughout the year.
Woodland Fuel Bed
A woodland-style log arrangement provides the basis of the fuel display, complemented by ember and crystal effects.
Optional decorative transparent slate can be introduced for a more contemporary fuel-bed appearance.

A seven-day programmable timer, daily scheduling, electronic thermostat and open-window detection provide additional control over day-to-day operation.

Expert Insight
The Cento Slim is the more practical Cento configuration where projection into the room is limited. Its upper section is only 191–211mm deep, yet the overall suite can still extend to 2500mm wide, allowing a substantial fireplace feature to be created without the physical depth of the Cento Deep.
Its low height is equally useful in media-focused interiors, leaving more usable wall space above the fireplace while retaining strong horizontal proportions.
Suitability
The Katell Italia Cento Slim is suited to modern living rooms, open-plan spaces and media-style interiors where a broad floating fireplace is wanted but room depth is at a premium. The four size options allow the same design to work across both modest and very wide feature walls.
Installation/ Technical Notes
The Cento Slim is designed for wall-mounted, flat-to-wall installation.
No chimney or flue is required.

Katell Italia products are made to order and can be highly customised. The stated typical lead time is approximately 6–8 weeks.
