An extraordinary hallmark of the Brooklyn by Chesneys is its strikingly contemporary design, which immediately captures the eye and transforms any living space into a modern masterpiece. This remarkable design is characterized by a series of geometric ovoid flutes that grace the fireplace surround. These flutes are not merely ornamental but serve as a dynamic architectural element that imbues the entire piece with a profound three-dimensional presence.

The clever juxtaposition of light and shade within the flutes is what truly sets this design apart. Each flute is meticulously carved to perfection, and the interplay between the raised and recessed areas creates a mesmerizing visual effect. When light cascades over the surface of the Brooklyn, it dances along the edges of these geometric ovoid flutes, casting captivating shadows and highlights that add depth and dimension to the piece.

The result is a fireplace surround that isn’t just a functional component but a true work of art, a sculptural masterpiece that commands attention and admiration. The strong three-dimensional presence of the Brooklyn is a testament to the skill and craftsmanship that went into its creation, as well as the innovative design sensibilities of Pembrooke & Ives.
