Finding the right Chesneys fire basket

Choose your basket’s design and fuel configuration together. A period basket can complement an ornate mantel, while a simpler design suits a more understated fireplace. Check the complete dimensions, including any supporting fire dogs or andirons, against the opening and hearth.

Chesneys fire basket FAQs

Which fuels can Chesneys fire baskets use?

Compatibility varies by design and configuration. Selected baskets can be specified for solid fuel, gas, electric or bioethanol use. Check the individual product specification; a basket is not automatically suitable for every fuel.

Does a fire basket include the burner and accessories?

Not necessarily. Burners, grates, ash pans and supporting fire dogs may be included or sold separately. Confirm the contents of your selected product before ordering, particularly when building a complete fireplace from separate components.

Can I use a Chesneys basket with a gas fire?

Selected baskets are compatible with Chesneys DFE gas fires. The basket, burner and fireplace installation must be suitable for one another. Ask Bonfire to check the proposed combination.
