An installation will normally take a whole day depending on how much work is involved with your project. The lead time from start to finish is estimated 4-6 weeks dependant on the time of year. It must be noted that every installation is bespoke and some circumstances cannot be for-seen.

All installations are bespoke to the project and are quoted for as a whole job. Bonfire are price competitive and can provide price match guarantees. Installations start at around £500+.

Our installation lead times vary depending on the seasons and whether we’re in the winter months. You can usually expect a 2-3 week lead time for an installation project depending on the complexity and stock levels. Please contact us to find out our latest lead times or when enquirying.

Before an installer arrives, you will need to clear the area where the installers are going to be working. This is to protect your furniture from any eventuality and give space for the work to take place.

As an extra safety precaution you may cover your furniture and floor with a protective dust sheet. A good installer will lay dust sheets on the floor and over your furniture to protect it, so you do not have to worry about this step.

During an installation, the room will get very dusty especially if a knockout of what is existing is taking place. It can be helpful to allow the easiest accessible route available for the fitters with sufficient ground clearance near the chimney stack, if a flue system is required.

A home survey is not necessary but a good way of allowing us to get a good idea of what can be achieved and what the expectations are of the client.

Surveys are normally free within 25 miles of our Reading, Berkshire showroom. A fee will be charged refundable against a future order with us, if you’re located out of this area.

We can price match all of our appliances and installation quotes, yet we will not compromise on the quality of our installations.

Yes, we will dispose of all packaging and if quoted we will remove and dispose of your old stove or fireplace at the end of your installation.

Removal and installation will produce dust and debris (which is unavoidable) but our installers will clean up after themselves every day.

To prevent dust from entering other areas of your home, it may be worth sealing doors to other rooms.

Yes, we can if the appliance complies to all regulations and we’re able to see the installation instructions of the specific appliance.

Although, we cannot install onto an existing flue liner as we cannot guarantee the structoral integrity of it.
