When it comes to installing your new appliance, Bonfire is the perfect fit, because no-one knows our appliances quite like us. Our professional Approved Installers will take the hard work out of bringing your project to life and get the job done quickly, efficiently and beautifully. Bonfire’s installation service can also be added to your finance agreement if you wish.

Our installation is a dry-fit service. This includes removing your old appliance and knockout of what is existing.

Our fully supported team of professional Approved Installers will visit and check your project design accurately fits with your room and services. Throughout your installation project, you will have the full support of our field and office-based teams to deliver and install your dream appliance for you with minimum fuss.

How long will an installation take?

An installation will normally take a whole day depending on how much work is involved with your project. The lead time from start to finish is estimated 4-6 weeks dependant on the time of year. Every installation is bespoke and some circumstances cannot be for-seen.

Is a home survey necessary?

A home survey is a good way of allowing us to get a good idea of what need to be achieved, how we will do it and what the expectations are of the client. Surveys are normally free within 25 miles of a dealers showroom.

How much will an installation cost?

All installations are bespoke to the project and are quoted for as a whole job. Bonfire are price competitive and can provide price match guarantees.

How do I prepare for an installation?

Before an installer arrives, you will need to clear the area where the installers are going to be working. This is to protect your furniture from any eventuality and give space for the work to take place.

As an extra safety precaution you may cover your furniture and floor with a protective dust sheet. A good installer will lay dust sheets on the floor and over your furniture to protect it, so you do not have to worry about this step.

During an installation, the room will get very dusty especially if a knockout of what is existing is taking place. It can be helpful to allow the easiest accessible route available for the fitters with sufficient ground clearance near the chimney stack, if a flue system is required.

Why is my stove not drawing properly?

This is because the stove or flue is too cold and so the cold air within the flue is stopping the smoke from escaping. This can be tackled by gradually heating up the flue slowly by using a hairdryer or lighting a small kindling fire.
